I read this quote about 4 times before I could figure out what was humorous about it. From the perspective of someone who actually works in theater this quote is 100% true and not the least bit funny. What most people don’t understand is that stage ‘combat’ like the slap the person was talking about can’t be totally faked, just slightly which is why the fight coordinator is important.
